I process personal data exclusively within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data means all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The use of this website is generally possible without providing personal data. If personal data (for example your name, email address or phone number) is collected on my pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis where possible.
3. Provision of the website and server log files
When you access this website, the provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits. In particular, this includes:
- IP address (generally stored in abbreviated or anonymised form)
- Date and time of access
- Accessed page / name of the requested file
- Transferred data volume
- Referrer URL (the page visited before)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
This data is processed in order to ensure the functionality of the website, to guarantee the security of the IT systems (for example to defend against attacks) and for error analysis.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable
provision of the website).
Storage period: Server log files are usually automatically deleted after a few days,
unless a longer retention period is required for security reasons.
4. Contact by email or contact form
If you contact me by email or using the contact form provided on the website, I process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.
Data processed may in particular include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Content of your message
- Any preferred appointment times
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Storage period: Your data will only be stored for as long as necessary to process your enquiry or as long as statutory retention obligations require.
Please do not send particularly sensitive health data via the contact form or by email. For actual psychosocial support and sensitive topics, I use – where necessary – other, more secure communication channels.
5. No disclosure to third parties / processors
Your personal data will generally not be disclosed to third parties unless:
- you have expressly consented to this (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR),
- there is a legal obligation to do so (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR),
- there is a legitimate interest and no overriding legitimate interests on your part (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or
- the processing takes place within the framework of a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR (e.g. hosting provider).
6. Cookies, tracking and external services
This website currently does not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), tracking cookies or social media plugins through which personal data is passed on to third parties.
If services that use cookies or similar technologies are implemented in the future, I will adapt this privacy policy accordingly and – where required – obtain your consent.
7. Data security
I use technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. This includes, among other things, encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS), which you can recognise by the “https://” in the address bar of your browser.
Please note that data transmission on the internet (for example when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.
